John 14:5-7 (KJV)

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

I just came back from voting, and it really was a no brainer!  Anyone who values what God says, will always go for the candidate that sides with preserving life of an unborn child, over abortion, any time.  If you call yourself a Christian, and you choose a candidate who is pro-choice, stands for abortion, and has proven they are supporting the Planned Parenthood organization, then all I have to say is, you need to re-evaluate you standing with God.  You need a closer walk, and talk, with Him, so He can show you the error of your ways.

I feel good that I went online, and chose all the candidates that are first, and foremost, pro-life.  Yes, I’m not naive enough to think they may be just saying things to get into office, and then change what they stand for, politicians do that, but that’s between them and God, and they will have to answer to Him on judgement day.  I can only go by what I prayed about, and sought God for, and my voting, and I chose to vote pro-life in my voting, because my motto is, “Where’s there’s LIFE, there’s always HOPE!”

My hope is not in this world anymore.  My hope is in my Heavenly Father above.  He gives me the hope I need every day, when things look bleak, and I am in pain from my migraines, or my feet, and hands are hurting, tingling, or numb.  I know that one day I won’t feel this anymore, because he is going to call me to my Heavenly home on high, as long as I stay true to Him, do what I can to witness for Him, here on earth.  That’s why I use this blog to get whatever kind of message I can to people about the wonderful love of God.  I also use my facebook to do so, and started a facebook for my church.  I want to spread God’s word, and love, as much as possible, to as many people as possible.

I don’t know how many people really read what I put on here, and maybe I will never know, but if what I put on this blog brings one lost soul to Christ, it is well worth all the time I put into it.  This is for God’s glory, not mine, and I do this, because I felt led by God to start this blog, since I can’t work right now, and this is the best way I can reach people to witness for Him.  I hope I inspire someone to not just sit on the sidelines.  Everyone can do something for God’s kingdom. No one is worthless, or useless!  God can, and will use everyone, all you have to do is give Him you heart, and life, and see what wonderful things God will do in your life!

The Obama campaign team has made it clear they are going to focus  on recapturing some of the women’s vote that has drifted to Mitt Romney since  the first debate. An ad that is now running in a key swing state says that Romney would overturn Roe v. Wade  and that is just one example of what voters will probably see more of in the  next 18 days.

Polls taken in September showed Romney picking up steam with blue-collar,  Republican leaning women who have lately been labeled “Wal-Mart Moms.” Yet when  the former Massachusetts governor began cutting into the more educated women  voters who tend to lean Democratic, that’s when Obama’s team leapt into  action.

ABC/Washington Post conducted a survey of women over the last two weeks that  has found Obama falling behind Romney among college-educated females – a group  that the president captured easily in 2008.

A more recent Gallup survey released on Thursday found Romney maintaining a  52-45 lead over Obama among likely voters, contradicting another ABC/Washington  Post poll on Oct. 15 that showed Obama with a 49-46 lead over Romney.

Yet another USA Today/Gallup poll taken in 12 key swing states and released  earlier this week found the two candidates in a dead heat among women voters  with Romney leading 54-42 among likely male voters. These types of numbers have  given the Obama team cause for concern.

But immediately after debate number two, Obama’s talking heads brushed past  foreign policy and oil and what was or wasn’t said in the Rose Garden. David  Plouffe wasted little time in defining where their campaign election strategy  was headed.

“I thought the exchange on women’s health issues was very important,” he  said, “not only for tonight but for the next 21 days.”

One of the most obvious examples came in an exchange the two men had about  Planned Parenthood during Tuesday night’s debate when Obama accused Romney of  planning to strip Planned Parenthood of government funding and for not answering  questions about making it easier for women to sue over discrimination.

Now the Obama team is running an ad in swing states saying that Romney would  “be delighted” to sign a bill making abortion illegal. What it doesn’t say is  that Romney believes a ban on abortion is “not where America is today.”

The ad will run in Virginia – a highly contested battleground state.

“If Roe v. Wade was overturned, Congress passed a federal ban on all  abortions and it came to your desk — would you sign it? Yes or no?” ask the ad,  which shows Romney saying, “I’d be delighted to sign that bill.”

Amanda Henneberg, a Romney spokesperson commented on the ad.

“President Obama’s campaign continues to mislead voters in a desperate  attempt to distract from this president’s failed economic record. Five and a  half million women are struggling to find work in the Obama economy, and they  are suffering from record unemployment under this president.”

The Hollywood Women for Obama Club wants you to vote with your “lady parts.” I want the women of America to vote with their lady smarts. The latest ad from a trio of Tinsel Town actresses spreads one of the stupidest lies about Mitt Romney this election cycle. Fantasyland needs a fact check.

According to starlets Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington, the GOP presidential ticket wants to “end” funding for “cancer screenings.” If you and your reproductive organs don’t vote for Obama, the doe-eyed celebrities ominously imply, people will DIE, DIE, DIE!

This scare-mongering falsehood has been repeated endlessly by Planned Parenthood and the Obama campaign itself. An official Obama for America ad released in August accuses Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, of backing measures to “allow employers to deny women access to cancer screenings.” It also is being used by demagogic Democrats in key Senate races (in Montana, for example).

This much is true: Romney and Ryan do indeed support ending all federal taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood’s billion-dollar empire. One-third of the budget of the nation’s largest abortion provider, which masquerades as a comprehensive health care provider, comes from government.

But here’s what the famous femmes don’t tell you: Planned Parenthood does not provide women with mammograms. PP’s “women’s health” mantle is a sham. An undercover investigation of 30 Planned Parenthood clinics in 27 different states, conducted by pro-life group Live Action, confirmed that the abortion provider does not perform breast cancer screenings. “We don’t provide those services whatsoever,” a staffer at Planned Parenthood of Arizona admitted. Planned Parenthood’s Comprehensive Health Center clinic in Overland Park, Kan., acknowledged: “We actually don’t have a, um, mammogram machine, at our clinics.”

But don’t just take Live Action’s word for it. In June 2012, the Obama Health and Human Services Department responded to a request for information about how many Planned Parenthood clinics were certified to operate mammogram facilities. “Our search did not find any documents pertinent to your request,” HHS told the Alliance Defense Fund.

Got that? Fraudulent Hollywood harridans and their hero in the White House have been deliberately deceiving women into thinking that eliminating Planned Parenthood subsidies would mean a catastrophic end to affordable cancer screening services. But the abortion provider’s purported “referral services” to outside mammogram facilities are negligible — especially given the widespread availability of free and low-cost breast and cervical cancer screening services across the country supported by both private and public grants.

Wait, that’s not all. In the real world, it’s the Obama administration, not Republicans, who have actively presided over and promoted a drop in cancer screenings for both men and women over the past four years. You can thank Democratic crusaders for health care rationing in the White House. They want all the glory of championing socialized medicine, but cut and run from the consequences at election time.

Under Obamacare, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) will be empowered to determine which health care services are “medically appropriate.” For nearly three decades, the federal panel of primary care physicians and epidemiologists has issued nonbinding guidelines and A-F ratings of recommended medical procedures. But as Forbes columnist Dr. Paul Hsieh explains:

ObamaCare links insurance coverage of preventive medical services to their USPSTF rating. … (U)nder ObamaCare, Medicare payment decisions will become increasingly controlled by the new Independent Payment Advisory Board, explicitly created to reduce Medicare spending. … To reduce costs, many private insurers will likely drop coverage for “C” and “D” rated services. Hence under ObamaCare, the USPSTF guidelines will likely become the de facto standards for both government and private health insurance coverage.”

And that means dropping coverage for the very services Scar-Jo and her femme friends are accusing the GOP of threatening.

Note: The USPSTF is the same review panel that advised cutting back on routine ovarian cancer screenings last month, recommended fewer prostate cancer screening tests in May 2012, and proposed mammogram restrictions for women over age 50 in 2009.

In fact, the Mayo Clinic reported this summer that mammogram screenings for women in their 40s have declined nearly 6 percent since the Obama panel announced its decision in 2009. “Comparing mammography rates before and after publication of the new guidelines,” the Mayo Clinic wrote, “researchers found that the recommendations were associated with a 5.72 percent decrease in the mammography rate for women ages 40-49. Over a year, nearly 54,000 fewer mammograms were performed in this age group.”

It’s no surprise the Hollywood “cancer screening” horror ad script was written by left-wing actor/director Rob Reiner of “All in the Family” and Archie Bunker fame. These Obama-promoting meatheads and their hysterical handmaidens inhabit a manufactured world impervious to facts and fiscal realities.

Two Ohio court rulings make it more difficult for men to molest young girls and then use Planned Parenthood’s abortion services to cover their tracks.

One case, Fairbanks v. Planned Parenthood S.W. Ohio Region, concerned a 16-year-old girl impregnated by her biological father. A more recent case, Doe (Wallace) v. Planned Parenthood S.W. Ohio Region, focused on a 14-year-old girl impregnated by her 21-year-old soccer coach.

In the Fairbanks case, the 16-year-old girl told a Planned Parenthood employee she had been forced “to do things [she] didn’t want to do.” Under Ohio law, this statement triggered Planned Parenthood’s duty to report, which Planned Parenthood ignored.

As a result of Planned Parenthood’s silence, the girl continued to endure molestation from her father for another year and half.

In the Doe case, the ease with which Planned Parenthood policies allowed circumvention of Ohio’s parental notification laws came into stark relief.

A soccer coach who began having sex with his female player was able to get around the notification laws by providing Planned Parenthood with his own cell number. He then acted as if he was the girl’s father when the abortionists called, and that was that. Planned Parenthood knew that a cell phone call did not satisfy the requirements of the law, but apparently it was satisfactory enough for the abortion giant’s bottom line, so the statutory rape went unreported.

Although the outcomes of these two cases did not result in direct, court-ordered obligations on Planned Parenthood, they are catalysts for changes in Ohio law that will make it harder for molesters and those like Planned Parenthood who try to protect them.

For example, Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers in Ohio won’t be able to remain quiet when a 16-year-girl tells them what a man is doing to her in the future. Minors who are the victims of sexual abuse can now bring civil action claims against individuals who breach their duty to report the abuse, and they can now seek punitive damages against individuals and entities that breach their duties to report the abuse as well.

Children who find themselves in the position of the 14-year-old soccer player will be better protected, too, as Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers must now take commonsense steps to make absolutely sure parents are taking part in the life-ending decisions their minor children are thinking about making. These steps include obtaining written consent from at least one parent before performing an abortion on a minor.

In addition, Planned Parenthood also has to face the fact that the ruling recognized a nationally renowned and “pro-choice psychologist who truthfully admitted that girls and women who have abortions can and do sometimes suffer from long-term and serious psychological problems as a result of abortions.”

The anonymity molesters have enjoyed in the past while carrying out their misdeeds in the state of Ohio should now be much more difficult to maintain. And that’s good news for everyone, and especially for the vulnerable, who are now better protected.

Michelle Obama, in her speech to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte last week, explained that her husband “believes that women are more than capable of making our own choices about our bodies and our health care.”

If you’re anything like me, you would like to believe the first lady on general principle. “Just say no to drugs”; “Read”; “Exercise”: These are good messages that have come from first ladies, including this one. Life is more complicated than simple slogans, however, and in this particular narrative, she was putting a spin on the redefining of religious liberty that’s occurred under her husband’s administration.

The Obama administration‘s position is not so much “women are more than capable of making our own choices,” but that the price of women’s freedom is the curtailing of religious liberty, because women’s freedom is dependent on  the treatment of fertility as a disease, and the idea of pregnancy as something to be shunned and prevented.

Currently, Obama‘s Justice Department is arguing in federal courts that business owners must go along with health care that covers contraception and abortion, regardless of their religious beliefs about such delicate matters. Women’s “freedom” under the Obama administration forces some Americans to make a choice between integrity and compliance. Faith-based institutions that simply can’t give in will face crippling fines — conveniently after the election.

“Freedom” in this understanding is actually nothing but a secular ideology that drives religion to the margins, more a matter of ceremony than the “indispensible support” our first president considered it. The Health and Human Services insurance mandate represents a political enshrinement of the sexual revolution by government diktat, which makes clear that despite all the talk of “choice,” the “freedom” of the Obama administration is something very different from what is commonly understood.

Not everyone came off as mainstream as Mrs. Obama in spinning the policies and philosophy of her husband’s administration. An opening video frankly stated the latter: “Government is the only thing we all belong to.” Speakers included an army of abortion-rights activists, including the president of NARAL and representatives from Pro-Choice America and Planned Parenthood, as well as the pro-choice women of the House and Senate.

And in a transparent effort to win back single women voters who voted Republican in the 2010 elections that put the House in Republican control, the Dems put Sandra Fluke, a “reproductive rights” celebrity, on in prime time to scare voters. Fluke insisted that should Obama lose the election, Rep. Paul Ryan would be a “a vice president who co-sponsored a bill that would allow pregnant women to die preventable deaths in our emergency rooms.”

I can imagine this might be believable to a voter who doesn’t have the time to investigate the claim, which has become a persistent, albeit appalling mischaracterization of the Protect Life Act that the House voted on almost a year ago. Democrats and abortion-activist groups have been making hay with it, dubbing it the “Let Women Die Act.”

Despite images that Democrats continue to paint of women dying on hospital floors, of nameless, heartless pro-life doctors and other hospital workers who would let them do so, the act sought to prevent health-care providers who are opposed to abortion on religious or moral grounds from being forced to participate in the process. A pregnant woman in an emergency room is protected too, by federal law that the legislation would not have undone; the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act requires hospital workers to do whatever is necessary to stabilize the condition of both the mother and her “unborn child” (the wording in the law) in an emergency room.

The shrillness of the Dems’ claim — along with terrible convention optics that included a floor debate over whether God could get a name-drop in the party’s platform (he ultimately was included and appeared to be booed) — betrays the extremism of the president and his party. Some questions voters should ask include: What, Mr. President, do you mean by freedom? When you talk about women’s health, you mean abortion, don’t you? What does that really mean for a religious believer with objections? What does religious freedom mean to you, anyway?

The Obama campaign opened up to us in Charlotte. These next weeks require a more careful look, without the stage and the props. Now is the time to cast aside the pomp and circumstance and insist on a robust accounting of ideas and their consequences. Elections are about stewardship, and our politics will only ever be as responsible as voters are about the rigor with which they make their choices.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hide your children. This is what the progressive left’s idea of women’s empowerment looks like: For the past two weeks, radical feminists from the group Code Pink have paraded across the fruited plain in giant female reproductive organ costumes.

The goal is “respect” for women’s bodies and women’s abortion rights. It’s part of the coordinated campaign to fight the right’s purported “war on women.” The Vagina Puppets’ Democratic Party sympathizers, from professional birth control freeloader Sandra Fluke to first lady Michelle Obama, dog-whistled the same messages of “choice” and “freedom” from the convention stage.

“We are … focusing on the issue of the GOP‘s war on women and trying to take away women’s reproductive rights, so we have been going around in our vagina costumes,” Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin told The Daily Beast. “We were the dancing vaginas. One of the things we have found is the surest way to make the police go away is try to get your picture in front of them wearing a vagina. They will blush and disappear.”

The group organized a “Bring Your Own Vagina” event at the RNC in Tampa and a protest with Planned Parenthood in front of the NASCAR Hall of Fame museum here at the DNC. A press release touted: “VISUALS: The famous CODEPINK vagina costumes!” Bright pink placards proclaimed: “VAGINA. Can’t say it, don’t legislate it.” Another demanded: “GOP: RESPECT WOMEN.”

Bless their hearts, but why must they so publicly flaunt their private parts? It’s hard to take these poster chicks for the Nanny State seriously when they look and sound like walking, talking gynecological checkups. Dressing as life-sized genitals, ranting about their entitlement to taxpayer-subsidized birth control, defining women as bio-objects and reducing “women’s issues” to sex without consequences: This is progress?

Pro-life activists and public officials aren’t waging a “war on women” when they defend the sanctity of life. Exercising decency, sensitivity, compassion and charity toward those who choose not to exercise deadly “choices” is pro-woman. It’s the callous ideologues who deny the existence of abortion regret and whitewash abortion victims’ suffering who are the true misogynists.

The bizarre circus of the vagina-gogues is vulgar on multiple levels. It’s visually tacky, gross and exhibitionist. More to the point, it’s so tastelessly beside the point.

While Code Pink and their sorority of Democratic Party soul mates glorify abortion and indulge in condom-clutching fear campaigns, there are countless true-life horror stories of women and unborn children being preyed upon by those who masquerade as “reproductive health care providers.”

Their voices are the ones squelched in the public square. Yet, Fluke and her ilk grab the national spotlight to complain that they are victims of censorship.

Despite their ghoulish record and eugenics-rooted foundations, Team Obama rewarded Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards with a key speaking role at the DNC this week. She and the White House shamelessly accused the rival GOP ticket of causing cancer deaths, encouraging rape and increasing domestic violence all week.

Yet, the Democratic men and women in power in Washington look the other way at Planned Parenthood’s predation of poor women and young girls who have been advised by abortion counselors to cover up statutory rape. Undercover investigators at Live Action have caught the abortion lobbyists on tape endorsing sex-selection abortions and approving race-based abortions.

President Obama can take time out of his schedule to console and promote Fluke in the name of women’s health and safety. But he has nothing to say to the dozens of black female victims and their families in Philadelphia who suffered at the hands of convicted abortionist butcher Kermit Gosnell. Or to the family of Tonya Reaves, a black female patient at Planned Parenthood’s Loop Health Center in Chicago, who died this summer after the staff performed a careless abortion on her and neglected her for more than five hours while she bled to death.

Doesn’t fit the Vagina Narrative. Now, on with the femme puppet show!

Editor’s note: This column was authored by Catherine Glenn Foster, Litigation Counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund.

It seems that every day the effects of the culture of death on our society are more and more obvious, and more and more gruesome. Just take the continued funding of Planned Parenthood with taxpayer dollars.

This ongoing controversy was highlighted recently when President Barack Obama declared yet again that he wants to continue pumping our hard-earned money into Planned Parenthood. Why? So it will still be around to perform abortions for daughters if they want one.

He drew a contrast with his political opponent, Gov. Mitt Romney, saying, “Mr. Romney wants to get rid of funding for Planned Parenthood. I think that’s a bad idea. I’ve got two daughters. I want them to control their own health care choices.”

To that end, President Obama asserted, “We’re not going backwards, we’re going forwards.”

But is it really going forward to prolong taxpayer funding of an organization that exists almost exclusively to kill innocent children, an organization where over 90% of the pregnant women who walk in, come back out without their baby? Is it really going forward to prop up “Big Abortion” so it will be there should one of your own daughters decide to have her preborn child killed?

Such thoughts should be chilling to the rational mind.

Remember that Planned Parenthood received nearly $400 million in taxpayer funds during the first year of the Obama administration, and nearly $500 million the following year. That’s well over a million dollars a day. With that kind of funding, the abortion giant was able to perform almost 330,000 abortions in 2010 alone.

In other words, President Obama has already been hard at work to make sure Planned Parenthood is around if his daughters want it. But between now and the day they might call upon the abortion giant for services, hundreds of thousands of other daughters across the country are lying on a Planned Parenthood gurney “[controlling] their own healthcare choices” at the expense of their preborn child—a child they usually aren’t even given full information about by the Planned Parenthood employee who is preying on them.

I don’t know about President Obama, but I want better than that for my daughters. I wanted better than that for Tonya Reaves, the young mother who recently died on a Chicago Planned Parenthood gurney thanks to a botched abortion and clinic staff who tried to cover up their mistakes instead of helping her.

All women deserve better than that. No woman should be lying on that gurney in an essentially unregulated clinic, where Planned Parenthood lawsuits have scared the government into keeping their hands off even the most basic, common-sense sanitation and safety regulations.

The culture of death is taking a toll on all of us. From the preborn children Planned Parenthood kills and then pulverizes, or throws in the dumpster, to the women it maims in the process, and even to the leader of the free world who wants Planned Parenthood around so his daughters can avail themselves of its “services.”

It’s time to end funding for the abortion giant. That’s what would truly be a step forward—for life.

Essence claims to have a “motivating message” for African-American women, and to “speak directly to a Black woman‘s spirit, her heart and her unique concerns. Every month African-American women rely on Essence for editorial content designed to help them move their lives forward personally, professionally, intellectually and spiritually.”

Essence must think that African-American women will be moved forward spiritually by Planned Parenthood, because the largest abortion provider in the United States, one that kills 300,000 American babies annually, is sponsoring the 2012 ESSENCE Music Festival in New Orleans.

According to Planned Parenthood executive vice-president Dawn Laguens, one of Planned Parenthood’s goals in sponsoring this event is “to educate festival attendees about health disparities in the African-American community.” I’m guessing one of those disparities isn’t the shocking, shocking, shocking abortion rate.

According to the Guttmacher Institute—Planned Parenthood’s very own research and propaganda wing—African-Americans, roughly 13% of the population, have 30% of all abortions in the United States, the highest rate of any racial group. Statistics from 2010 show that in New York City, African-Americans, who make up roughly one-quarter of the population, get 45% of the abortions.

No, that disparity doesn’t bother anyone at Planned Parenthood. They probably see it as a good thing. Not only is it more business and more money for their organization, but to them, abortion is not only healthy, but empowering. If they’re right, then blacks have a higher empowerment rate than whites, the highest among any group.

Dr. Vanessa Cullins, vice-president of Planned Parenthood, says that “African Americans have higher rates of many preventable diseases, including cancers, diabetes, heart disease and sexually transmitted infections.”

Pregnancy is not a disease, despite African-American Member of Congress Gwen Moore calling it “a danger to women’s health and safety of their families.” Neither is a baby a “punishment,” as our African-American president of the United States called it, in reference to the idea of killing his own grandchild.

Let’s not forget who founded Planned Parenthood: Margaret Sanger, a thoroughgoing racist who openly believed that whites were genetically superior to blacks. As Herman Cain and otherssuch as Alveda King, niece of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., have pointed out, Planned Parenthood centers are most often located in urban areas, especially in African-American neighborhoods. They know who their top customers are.

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “The Negro cannot win as long as he is willing to sacrifice the lives of his children for comfort and safety.” What could more apply to this than abortion?

Planned Parenthood staff and volunteers have been handing out shirts, water bottles, and tote bags all week-end. In other words, they’ve been propagandizing. They want their message and their brand-name to spread even further among the African-American community.

Even a man of God such as Reverend Al Sharpton is said to have stopped by the Planned Parenthood booth at the event. The prophet Isaiah says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” To call abortion anything at all positive is to do precisely this, to call good what God calls evil and call evil what God calls good. The Church must be united against abortion, and therefore against the servants of Moloch at Planned Parenthood.

Margaret Sanger once said, “we do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” Sanger exploited African-American religious leaders to sell murder to their congregations, to convince people that it is okay to sacrifice the future to the convenience of the present.

I do want the word to get out that that is exactly what Margaret Sanger wanted, and, that, consciously or not, the African-American community is eliminating its own future by turning a blind eye to abortion and the breakdown of the family.

I encourage all African-American women who respect life, and all African-American women of faith, to boycott Essence until they live up to their own words and give us a real motivating message.

Two Nice People!

. . . technology can also be a huge advantage in the fight to recognize and protect the sanctity of human life-every human life. For example, pro-lifers have worked diligently to place sonogram machines into pregnancy care clinics, and the presence of these high-tech wonders-which clearly show the humanity of the fetus-has no doubt contributed mightily to a substantial drop in the abortion rate, as well as a marked increase in the percentage of Americans who consider themselves to be pro-life.

Over the past few months, the ties between the Obama administration and Planned Parenthood have become more and more evident. Not only was the president initially elected with the strong support of Planned Parenthood  officials, but prior to the issuance of the HHS abortion pill mandate, Planned Parenthood Federation of America CEO Cecile Richards was brought in to advise Obama on how and when to do so. (Since then, Planned Parenthood’s former media director Tait Sye  has been selected to serve as a deputy assistant secretary for public affairs at HHS.)

And the connections really come into focus when we listen to the president on the campaign trail, especially as he uses his stump speech to talk up the “virtues” of Planned Parenthood.

Speaking at Oyster River High School on June 25, the president used the same kind of Chicken Little—“The sky is falling!”—talking points that Planned Parenthood supporters have been using for years. He did this by telling the audience that their choice in the upcoming election was between funding abortions at Planned Parenthood or turning back the clock on healthcare for women:

In this election  , on every single challenge that we face, you’ve got the final say…You can decide that instead of restricting access to birth control or defunding Planned Parenthood, we should make sure that in this country, women control their own health care choices. That’s up to you.

Consider the horror. If we don’t fund Planned Parenthood, women will have no choice but to seek out illegal, back-alley abortions. Or worse yet, many women will actually have to carry their babies to term.

But if we stick with the current policy of funding abortions, whether we find it morally reprehensible or not, Planned Parenthood will be able to continue providing legal, sanitized rooms in which to do their killing, so that women won’t have to wander in alleys to get the dirty deed done or carry their babies to term if they don’t want.

If those turns of phrases seem harsh, read them again, because they convey the message the president is really communicating—and Planned Parenthood loves to hear it.

Long gone are the days when high schools were viewed as places for young adults to become better prepared for life. Instead, the president sees them as theaters for the culture of death.

Talk about indoctrination 101.
